The 2006 - 2007 hockey season ended last night with the Anaheim Ducks defeating the Ottawa Senators, http://www.nhl.com/. I can't remember the last time I watched a hockey game. I closely followed the sport in the early 90's when Mario Lemieux and Jaromirr Jagr took the Pittsburgh Penguins to two Stanley Cups. After Lemieux retired as a player and Jagr was traded I lost interest in the game. I think the public lost interest in the game when the players went on strike and the league struggled to find a network that would broadcast the games.
