Good Curling

OK, this isn't really curling but it's the best substitute I know until the club has ice. Last summer at the club's barbecue we played the bean bag toss game out in the parking lot. Carol had her step-father build the targets as a Christmas gift. It was Carol's idea to use the curling theme and I think she did a fantastic job painting the boards. The backyard club is now open, good curling, I mean good bean bag toss. That doesn't sound correct so let's stick with "Good Curling."

By the way, there is a web site for the American Cornhole Association. Does that make this a sport?

In order for it to be a sport it must at least require you to put your beer down at some point during play. Even if you are skip, you still have to put your beer down to throw!

Note to self - invent self-levelling broom-mounted beer can holder.

Even Frank Zappa felt beer was essential.

You can't be a Real Country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have a football team or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least, you need a beer. - Frank Zappa
