All towns are judged by the number of churches and banks along the main street and you can tell Media Pennsylvania was (is) a prosperous town. I didn't look for the corner stone on the bank but carved above the front door it said "First National Bank." The First National Bank must have had a lot of money when this building was built. I wonder how many times the name on the bank changed since the building was built? I'd love to see the inside of the bank but the bank was closed when I took this picture.
