A view from the balcony of The Delaware County Institute of Science in Media Pennsylvania. The building was constructed in 1867 and all of the chairs in the lectern hall were purchased in the 1800's. I find it amazing so many chairs exist after 100 years. I read somewhere that all antique furniture is uncomfortable, all the comfortable furniture was heavily used, worn out and thrown away. Think about it...
This is an interesting place for young and old with items you can touch and some you don't want to let out of the bottle.
