This is going to be a historic day in American history but for all the wrong reasons. After 158 years in existence Lehman Brothers investment bank filed for bankruptcy protection and Merrill Lynch was acquired by Bank of America. The fate of AIG is still up for grabs. Theres a storm brewing and it's not a hurricane.
