Malvern is only 15 miles from the city of Philadelphia but in the olden days time spent at "The Cabin" was considered a country vacation. I don't know when the cabin was built but it must have been one of the earliest homes built in this neighborhood. The cabin has been empty for as long as I can remember. I checked the price when it went up for sale and the owner wanted more than $300,000, now it's listed as a building lot with a price in the high $200,000.
