Mary curling in the Pull-The-Plug bonspiel at the Philadelphia Curling Club. The season ended, they pulled the plug and the ice is melting but there will be new ice in October! There is an open house in October where you can try curling and sign up for lessons. Check the web site for details on the date and time of the open house.
Since I'm not curling 4 days a week I should have pictures posted on the blog 5 days a week. If you have ideas for the blog please leave a comment.

This picture is great!!! I wonder if we could use this for training. It might even be better than video.
I want a photo like that!
I tried to recreate the photo with some other curlers I photographed on Saturday but none of the merged photos turned out as well as this photo. I plan to work on the technique this fall when curling resumes. Once I perfect the technique I'll setup some off hours ice time for photo sessions.
