While he was sleeping.

I mentioned earlier how tough it was to get photos of wildlife with a point and shoot camera. I managed to get close to this stork because it was sleeping. It flew away just after I took the photo.

Up close with the bird

Yesterday I said it was tough to get photos of birds with a point and shoot camera. The next day this bird let me get up close and position the bird in front of the bird house. Thanks little bird.

Drying his wings

It's tough to get close up photos of birds when all you have is a point and shoot camera. The crane and the cormorant share some high ground at one of the ponds on the gold course.

Boats on blue

I'm not sure I ever saw water this shade of blue but it sure looks pretty. But you don't want to go in the water because there are gators in this part of Florida.

Pinning Butterflies

A worker at the Florida Museum of Natural History pins butterflies. You should stop by the Butterfly Rainforst and check out all of the butterflies. If it's raining the butterflies will not be flying but it makes photography easier.
