Clan Scott modern red tartan

A Scotsman at the Celtic Fling wearing the modern red tartan of the Clan Scott. I was surprised to see my own picture in the Celtic Fling program. It was a photo of me carrying the Scottish flag in the parade but the photo is not on the web site so I cannot link to the photo.

The parties over, the ice melted and the ducks have taken over the cooler.

Balloons for the birthday/graduate girl.

The Gift

Carol proudly displays her birthday gift from Ava. It seems like it's the thought that counts and this gift will be remembered long after the balloon breaks and the water evaporates. Why didn't I think to give water balloons as birthday gifts?

In the birdbath

These kids were caught red handed playing in the birdbath. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out who the kids are since they are wearing name tags on the back of their shirts.

Falling for Lilly

I was walking back to the house after taking the picture of the surveyors and stopped to take this photo. The flower was swaying in the breeze and I was having trouble standing still myself. I felt like I was falling when I took the photo and looking at the image I still have that feeling.

Surveying

I looked out my bedroom window Thursday morning to see guys surveying the neighborhood. My first thought was they were re-surveying the Mason Dixon line but then I remembered a neighbor wanted to put in a fence. In our neighborhood the trees all have price tags ($2000 to have them cut down) so it'll be interesting to see which neighbors gets which trees.
