Fallen Flower

I have no idea what type of flower this is or from what tree it fell. Each flower had a leaf attached on each side of the flower. The leaf looked like it was from a maple tree but I never saw a maple tree with flowers like these.

Beauty Sleep

It's Monday and it's a holiday in the United States; I'm sleeping in today because I need my beauty sleep.

Gosling

This gosling doesn't have any brothers or sisters. I'm pretty sure that's not normal so I wonder what happened. There was another pair of geese with 5 gosling's.

Hosta

One of our large Hosta plants after the rain. I don't know what is in the soil but these plants grow big along the sidewalk.

Mushrooms

DirecTV Blimp

During my lunch hour I went to Best Buy to pick up my Wii Fit. Sitting in the parking lot I saw what I thought was one of those blimp balloons they fly at the car dealership. The balloon turned out to be the DirecTV blimp making slow progress flying into the wind. It took 30 minutes for the blimp to fly close enough for me to take this photo with my point and shot camera.
